Dan Taberski is a writer, director, producer, and podcaster.
His most recent documentary project is 9/12, an audio series about post 9/11 America, made with Pineapple Street Studios, Amazon Music, and Wondery. Also in 2021, he hosted, reported, and executive produced The Line, the first Apple Original podcast, with Alex Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions. Taberski is the host and creator of limited run podcast series Running From COPS, Surviving Y2K, and 2017’s Missing Richard Simmons, all created with Pineapple Street Studios and Topic Studios.
As a TV producer, Taberski created hit kids show Destroy Build Destroy for Cartoon Network, as well as the absurd and appropriately short-lived crafting game show Craft Corner Deathmatch. As a filmmaker, his documentary short These C*cksucking Tears, won the jury prize at the SXSW Film Festival. Taberski is a former producer for The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart, and worked on economic policy in the Clinton White House.
He’s also an accomplished quiltmaker (no, seriously!), using only second-hand clothes and other previously discarded fabric as materials.
He lives in NYC and Woodstock, NY.
